Cameron Derby
Originally from Akron, Ohio, artist Cameron Derby's passion is portraiture, whether it be people, animals or characters. She is also a skilled photographer and her interest in people and culture is what motivates most of her artwork. Many of her pieces bring both of these worlds together into new and interesting mixed-media images that challenge the viewer's perceptions and perspectives.
Derby received a Bachelors in Photography from Columbia College Chicago and has been teaching Drawing and Sketching classes for kids and teens since 2017. Through teaching, she loves helping students discover themselves as artists.
