JACKSON WREDE
Jackson Wrede is a fine artist born and raised in Mount Prospect and now working out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Jackson was a member of the Prospect High School Class of 2014 before going off to college at the University of Notre Dame where he received his BFA in Painting in 2018. He moved to Grand Rapids in 2019 to earn his MFA at the Kendall College of Art & Design, and after graduating in 2021, he officially began his professional painting practice for a variety of collectors in Michigan, Chicagoland, and across the US.
In between a busy schedule of commissioned projects, Jackson continues to develop his artistic voice through a diverse portfolio of original works, which are increasingly finding their way into homes, galleries, institutions, and museums around the country. Wrede's art embraces the plurality possible within contemporary painting, and his latest works that comprise this exhibit span various genres including portraiture, pop art, symbolism, still life, and landscape. |
